Bomb verb
/bɒm/ · to bomb a hill
To ride a skateboard or longboard straight down a hill without slowing, carving, or footbraking. You point the board down the fall line and let gravity have it.
"We bombed that hill on 32nd all afternoon."
It is where the name comes from, and it is one way to ride a hill. Carving cuts side to side across the slope to keep the speed in hand. Sliding breaks the wheels loose to scrub it off. Plenty of people just cruise. A good hill is a good hill whichever of those you came for, and the fast ones are the ones that hurt most when they go wrong, which is why everything here is a shortlist entry rather than a recommendation.
